Cherry wood is a high-end option that is fine-grained. The heart of the tree offers a deep red to brownish-red colour that evokes a look of luxury and elegance. The surrounding wood varies from white to a light creamy yellow colour. Cherry is used in manufacturing high-end furniture, architectural millwork, mouldings and other wood items. Good carpenters also use it for parquet wood flooring.
