HARD MAPLE

Maple sapwood is ivory white with a slight tint of reddish-brown. The heart of the wood is more greyish-brown or a deep fawny colour. Its grain is firm and uniform and is ideal in carpentry for creating mouldings, furniture, architectural millwork and decorative elements. It is also used in manufacturing flooring as well as athletic equipment.
